Before Jack was exiled from Stroutan, he worked as an apprentice blacksmith, however, Jack got greedy, using his blacksmithing skills to create lockpicks and a dagger, he named Shadowsong. when night fell Jack went out, cutting purses breaking into houses without a care in the world, he enjoyed the boost of adrenaline surging through his veins however this didn't satisfy Jack's want for more, he started to target upper-class families, for the bigger scores thinking he was unstoppable and unable to be caught Jack grew greedier and greedier, it wasn't enough, nothing was enough, becoming careless Jack started leaving small amounts of evidence, like coal dust from his clothes eventually being caught and being sent to the Forsaken lands of Conan.
